Our mission is to bring people together through travel.
We organize group trips for people over 40 who want to connect, explore, and share new experiences — in Italy and across Europe.
But travel starts with trust. That’s why we’ve built a network of local events — dinners, guided walks, aperitifs — that create the first spark. Every month, thousands of people attend our events in cities across Italy. These local moments are the gateway to our core product: unforgettable group travel.
Now, we're looking for a Community & Event Leader to scale this ecosystem — and help us take it to the next level.
Own and expand the local event strategy that fuels our travel business: build relationships, generate trust, and activate our audience in the real world.
Lead the growth of three event formats:
Design scalable systems: playbooks, ambassador programs, incentive schemes, quality control, and operations.
Recruit, train, and support guides and ambassadors across Italy.
Launch and test new formats to drive conversion from event to travel.
Work closely with the marketing, product, and operations teams to align local engagement with our overall growth goals.
You have strong experience in event production, community building, or territorial activation — ideally in fast-paced or mission-driven environments.
You’re not just an organizer — you’re a builder: process-oriented, analytical, and deeply people-focused.
You know how to move both people and numbers — balancing empathy with performance.
You’re tech-savvy, self-directed, and comfortable working remotely and across teams.
You’re available for a long-term collaboration, with a compensation package based on results and impact.
At Meeters, travel isn’t just a product — it’s a social transformation.
And local events are the foundation that makes it possible.
As our Community & Event Leader, you’ll play a critical role in shaping how we bring people together — first around a table or on a walk, and then on a journey that can change their lives.
Tell us who you are, why this excites you, and what you've built or led in the past.
Share a few examples of community initiatives or events you’ve managed — and how they created real impact.
