What's Meeters?

We are building a new way to interact with people by leveraging technology.

We have built a community of people to whom we provide a platform to socialize and meet new people with the same interests to spend quality time together.

In 2021, thanks to our 37.000 customers community, we made 25.000 people meet in 1.600 events and 90 travels.

For 2023 and the years to come, internationalization and therefore the transformation into a European scale up awaits us, we’re excited!

What we are looking for

Despite the Covid pandemic that spread this year in Italy and worldwide, we managed to double our revenues and to expand our internal team of colleagues.

That’s why we are looking for a Travel Organizer Intern to join and support our amazing Travel Team in increasing the quality and range of our travels, making them more and more attractive.

What will you do? Role highlights

• Build a good relationship with the accommodation facilities, make them adjust and understand the Meeters philosophy. Be able to instill company values to our suppliers;
• Manage options and room allotments with the facilities independently;
• Create room lists and keep the suppliers up to date with every request from the customer;
• Scout and validate the best price-quality ratio suppliers.

Requirements and Attitude:

• Bachelor’s degree/ Master’s degree in Tourism/Events management or equivalents;
• Knowledge - also to a basic level - of the world of tourism: know the meaning of option, room allotment, allotment, tour leader plan, voucher Etc;
• Ability to perform standard spreadsheet functions using Microsoft Excel;
• Critical Thinking when reviewing a process;
• Basic Knowledge about Event & Travel Business;
• Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude;

• Great communication and synthesis skills;
• Ability to organize workload, and adapt quickly to change;
• Committed to deadlines with strong self-organization skills;
• Dynamic, proactive, flexible, curious, committed to teamwork;
• Be a great team player;
• Availability to work in our Verona office based 3 days per week;

 Nice to have skills:

• Previous experience (even if short) in managing clients/front office roles
